Modest Monday

We had a great weekend here at the Academy. Parents of the cadets come into town and attend various events all weekend long, which also means that many attend Sunday morning chapel with us as well as those cadets who would normally be off campus for the weekend. This is a great privilege to share Jesus with folks who may have never heard. We know that God's Word never returns unto Him void but it shall accomplish that which He pleases. It really is exciting to be part of God's team!

 Most times when we all need to dress up and attend a function it is easier said than done! Especially hard are those early teen years...there is such a severe lack of modest clothing for these girls who are no longer little girls but not quite able to fit into the smallest lady sizes ;)

I am planning on buying some of these modest yet simple dresses for the girls as they are so quick and simple yet absolutely feminine. Here they are wearing mine (above) so it is obvious that these dresses will work for us. I have been finding many such dresses on Groopdealz and Jane.com.

 Our 2 oldest girls just bought their own very first dresses and they arrived just in time for Parents Weekend! They were so excited to style them for Sunday.

TJ surprised me with a new dress when he helped the girls place their very first online order!
I love navy blue and I really like the pleated skirt and hem. These dresses are super soft and you feel like you are wearing a "nightie" to church!! ;) I really wished for the cutest pair of yellow heels for this dress but my grey ones worked very well instead! :)

Well the flu has entered our home and I have one down...thankfully my vital greens arrived today and you can be sure I will be handing my "liquid gold" around this week!

We have some exciting things coming up this summer and I can hardly wait to share them with you!
