The smell of fall is in the air here in Alberta...
I shall cling to the last of summer for as long as I can.
If the sun shines, I am outside soaking in all the rays I can. I love summer!
Fall has its perks but I am so not ready to say goodbye to summer sun!
Just a quick and simple outfit for Sunday...all items were thrifted.
Are you looking forward to fall?
See you soon!

Summer is the sweetest when you know it won't last. Here in Florida it doesn't feel the same. After five years I would welcome some fall weather.
ReplyDeleteI love fall!! Fall is beautiful in WV where I am. Love your outfit and I love to go to thrift stores. How long have you worn skirts/dresses.
ReplyDeleteyes fall is gorgeous in the East....it is not so vivd out west :( but every season has something special about it! I am from the east so I miss the gorgeous fall colours! I grew up in a very conservative church...so I have worn skirts/dresses only basically for as long as i can remember....but as I got older the Lord and I did go on a journey of our very own and I am so glad and thankful for how loving and personal our God truly is...
DeleteHere in Papua New Guinea, we enjoy almost perfect weather every day... It reminds me of a nice August summer day in Maine most every day.. Chilly in the evenings and mornings! We enjoy it so much, but I do miss the colorful fall and then also the snow for Christmas!! But how can I complain, we live in such a gorgeous country! I don't know how many times TIM and I have said PNG reminds us of West Virginia, especially the mountainous and winding roads!
ReplyDeleteI love your romantic blouse! Thank you for sharing with us on the Art of Home-Making Mondays at Strangers & Pilgrims on Earth! :)
