Like many verses in the Bible we are given a command but not very many specifics. I believe this is part of the universality of the word of God. It was given to all people for all ages.
We are responsible to take this command and find what the Lord wants us to do personally.
Modest apparel has a wide range....from the skirts that skim the ground with ruffles and lace to the straight knee length denim.
We are all unique individuals with personal likes and dislikes. I am not typically a ruffles and lace girl and my best friend growing up was!! :) We were definitely from different ends of this spectrum. I frustrated her most of the time with my refusal to have big curly hair and wear pink ruffles!! ;) We were complete opposites....but that's what makes this all so much fun! What a boring world this would be if we all looked the same!
It is okay to be you! Celebrate and explore this within the parameters of the Biblical commands and let YOUR light so shine....not someone else's!
