Forgotten Mothers

There are many things to ponder these days.

Just be careful you don't almost run a stop light while pondering the deepness of  life. Thankfully we have good brakes ;)

I was pouring my heart and soul out to my husband the other night and he said something that has been rattling around in my brain ever since.

"Remember that every thing in life is for the glory of God and the futherance of His work...we may not understand all the ways in which God moves with our limited vision but we can trust God to always do what is right and best."

The world and everything that it contains was made for the sole purpose of glorifying God.

Most days I forget.

Most days are spent in a seemingly endless cycle....

A dizzy spin...chasing my tail to catch and chase again. Not going anywhere.

Wasted days...wasted minutes....sometimes that's how it feels.

Bombarded by the world's philosophies of pleasing self.

Accomplishments...liberty to live how you please...accountable to no one...responsible for just yourself.

Just a housewife....a homemaker...somebody's wife...somebody's mother...homeschooler what is that?

This is what happens when my perspective is aimed at myself...

Perspective....how that changes my day

.quotes about loneliness - Google Search:

I am busy about the Lord's business....scrubbing floors, washing clothes, making beds, cleaning toilets. It's all to furthering God's kingdom.

The importance of keeping your duties as mother and wife a priority. This is what God has called me to...:

 How?

Because as mothers we are creating a world. A world of raising a family for the glory of God.

This world needs another Charles Spurgeon....another David Livingston...another Mary Slessor...another Fanny Crosby...

More missionaries...more great preachers to bring about more great awakenings...more godly women to raise up more godly families.

This world has plenty and enough people living for themselves...wasting time.

Above all I am spending my days training and loving the next generation.

This is the Lord's business...this is the highest calling!

So rise again...those mothers who feel forgotten and alone and unimportant. Lift up your head....you are important right where you are. Sweep that floor again but this time sweep it for the Lord....throw another load of laundry in and fold it for the Lord.... but more importantly instill in your children the desire to be used of the Lord for the furthering of His kingdom.....NOT the furthering of the devil's.

"Your greatest contribution to the kingdom of God may not be something you do but someone you raise." ~Andy Stanley
