It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I love the Christmas season and I especially love decorating...who am I kidding? I just love decorating! :)

I'm the kind that changes things around fairly often...my poor husband doesn't do change very well but he puts up with it and actually encourages me in all my endeavors. He's the best!

Last year I wanted to change the whole Christmas decor but with a limited pocketbook I had to come up with creative ways to do this :)))

This year it has been fun to continue and thanks to my photo copier, glue gun and the thrift store we have come up with just a cozy simple Christmas style that we have been enjoying!

This big music sheet wreath was my biggest project this year...although the plan was not to be that big I still love how it turned out ;)

We will be making a few more paper fan things with the buttons on them....as we gave a few away last year for gifts and we need a few more to add to our tree again :)

I also have fallen in LOVE with burlap and have a few more ideas to use it for...but for now we enjoyed using it on the tree as garland and along the mantle piece. You will see touches of burlap all around our house :)

I think I can say that my taste is running along the farmhouse look....just can't hardly wait for that farmhouse on 40 acres to fix up ;) TJ reminded me this morning that I should not give up on praying for my dreams.....because I had indeed been thinking that with the economy and opinions of others it was just going to be impossible. But I serve an amazing God who deals in the impossible....so I'm going to pray again. Thankful for an amazing guy who reminds me to keep on!

I was able to find some buffalo check curtains for my dining room and kitchen...so excited to get them in the mail! The white curtains you see below are really from the girls room and don't work so well with  dogs ;)

I hope you have enjoyed seeing some glimpses of Christmas at our house....we have soo much to be thankful for this year...we have been so blessed by the Lord! Let us remember to keep Christ in Christmas this year!

Merry Christmas!
