Oh my friends can't you hear the voice of the Lord crying out to you today!!! Pleading, urging, imploring, sad.....
"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." I Peter 1:15-16
We are called to be set apart, different from the world yet living among and having part of it... drawing people out from the world and unto Christ.
Oh my friends, our focus in life is wrong! We are focused on what the world is to give us and how we can get the most pleasure and have the happiest joy-filled life!!!
"For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you." Luke 12:30-31
We are not here to seek after the things of the world....our entire life style is to be God-centered and God-focused.
But to have the mindset that we are to give up all pleasures and fun and live a life of drudgery is a totally wrong view that the devil throws our way....to get you sidetracked!
God cares and loves you more than your tiny mind can fathom and He plans for you the most satisfactory and pleasure-filled life but you must be Heavenly minded.
Stop looking at what God seemingly takes from you and that selfish way of viewing life....that is the devil out to steal your happiness, replace it with a life of bitterness and a facade of happiness based on a pursuit of personal liberty.
We have no life apart from God...He owns us twice!
Don't sacrifice the blessings of your eternity for the blip of life here on earth!!
You cannot live the way you please and tack a little Jesus on the end of it....it doesn't work that way.
