We were able to fly all eight of us home for 2.5 weeks of fast fun!
Home happens to be Nova Scotia and it was the first time in 5 years that our kiddos got to go back...they were pretty excited.
It was also their first plane ride...so it was sorta a field trip/adventure/vacation all in one!
Here they are at the airport...one of the many we landed at on our way across :) And since we had a layover in Ottawa we decided to sneak out and see if we couldn't visit Parliament Hill.
It was a blustery, cold day and I'm not sure that all the kids "got it" but we got the pictures for years to come!
TJ did a lot of preaching for his dad..here he is doing chapel at the school!
picking turkey for Grampie...
got a picture with my brother and Grandmother...a really good memory for us!
it sure was good to see him again!
took a field trip to Port Royal...
got held up there!
got lined up there also!
continued on to Fort Anne....sat on the roof!
lined up down yonder!
met some weirdos ;)
there were many places perfect for photo ops...just wish I had my camera, time, and some cooperation! :)
rekindled old friendships...
played many good games ...
went 4-wheeling or crashing as the case may be...
did some singing...
made new friends...
had the Christmas tree lot tour...
met a llama...
met some horses...
played more games...
met more friends...
went 4 -wheeling s'more...
enjoyed the falls (when we actually found it)...
had some parties....
picked up some apples...
what oh what will we do next???!!!
Stay tuned,
~HeidiJ
All of Canada is beautiful but there is something magical about Nova Scotia. It makes me homesick just looking at the pictures. Have a Merry Christmas! We love you all!
